About Kayospruce

How it began

Having started from a front room, Kayospruce has now developed into one of the leading distributors of technical fabrics in the UK. Keen sailor, Ian Dawson started the business over 35 years ago when he could only buy marine fabric by the roll rather than cut lengths.

Now, Kayospruce operates from a 20,000 square ft warehouse on the south coast along with a team of 30 and the intention to grow even further.

Technical & Contract Fabrics at its finest

Starting solely in the marine industry supplying fabric, the range developed to include hardware and marine accessories. Now the company provides a range of technical textiles to various industries across Europe.

Kayospruce has now diversified into numerous markets including the outdoor furnishings and contract upholstery markets supplying beautiful yet hardwearing fabrics for the commercial industry.

Also, to accommodate increasing demands Kayospruce are becoming keenly involved in the structures markets; delivering high-quality textiles designed to withstand demanding conditions for various applications including marquees, shelters and awnings to name a few.

Kayospruce is always looking to develop their product range to help provide its customers with the highest quality fabrics and materials for various applications.

Kayospruce strongly prides itself on the highly dedicated in-house customer service and sales teams. They hold a wealth of knowledge about product ranges and are always happy to assist with enquiries that require specific technical knowledge.

Thanks to the large warehouse capabilities, we can carry large volumes of stock for an unrivalled fast and efficient service.

We know how vital it is that customers receive their products promptly, so we aim to ship the majority of orders the same day via courier. There is also a free local delivery service that is provided once a week for customers.
