Thread

We supply a range of different thread in numerous colours. Popular amongst sailors, terko threads are made of polyester and cotton, with the cotton element used to help seal seam holes. Our terko thread is sold by the spool and is a high strength thread with a good abrasion and UV resistance. Our black terko thread no 36 is the most commonly sold. 

Alternatively, you can use dabond thread, which is a high strength, low stretch thread with the same good resistance to UV, mildew and abrasion as terko thread. Dabond thread is continuous with no knots or breaks and has excellent resistance to needle heat. We stock a range of dabond threads, with the most popular being V46, V69, V92 and V138. You can also purchase anti wick thread, which has the same pros as dabond thread and also benefits from reduced water penetration through stretching.
